Doc’s Last President’s Corner

September 6, 2011 is our election night.  We will be voting in a new Secretary, three Board Members and a new President.  I would like to extend my personal thanks and appreciation to the Board of Directors and Executive Board.  You have served with dignity and faithfulness to our Mission and have completed your duties honorably – Thank You.

I have served in a leadership position with this organization for 6 out of our 10 years and have been your President for the last 4 years.  I believe that part of my job as president is to ensure that we continue to grow and keep our leadership group fresh and provide opportunities for members to step up and expand their responsibilities within our Chapter.  I don’t want us to develop the appearance of clicks or “good ol’boy” groups that may hinder or discourage growth or participation within our Chapter which is why I chose to not run for a 3rd term.  The decision was not easy but one that I feel is in the best interests of our Chapter.  I greatly appreciate the friendship, trust, and respect that you have shown me.  It truly has been a privilege and honor to serve this organization as your President.  THANK YOU!!

As the immediate past President my job will be to support the new President and assist as needed in his transition into the leadership position.  I have no doubt that Joe Pepin will do a great job and we will continue to educate the public about the POW-MIA issues and to support Veterans from all wars.

To all the organizations and persons that have supported us during my tenure as President, I hope and humbly request that you continue to support Rolling Thunder NH Chapter I and Joe Pepin as our new President.  With humility, appreciation, and much gratitude – THANK YOU!!

Good Health and Safe Travels!!
